RMR Firefighter Spotlight April 2026
Rural Metro Fire is proud to hilight Public Information Officer, Sarina Kissell, who has been serving this role since the beginning of the 2026. While Sarina will continue serving in her primary role as a Firefighter EMT (3-years and counting), she will also be the designated voice helping keep our community informed, prepared, and connected.
Sarina is a retired U.S. Army veteran, having honorably served in the 82nd Airborne Division, where she learned the value of teamwork, resilience, and service above self. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science and Emergency Management, bringing both field experience and academic expertise to this position. Most importantly, Sarina is driven by her love for serving her community—and when she’s not on duty, you’ll find her dedicated to the people who matter most to her: her family and friends. We’re excited for the energy, heart, and professionalism she brings to the team
